During the registration process, you will be asked to read and agree to the terms and conditions below. Submission of a registration is regarded as affirmation of your acceptance of the conference terms and conditions.

Registrations and Attendance

  • Delegates are unable to split a full conference registration. Sharing of a registration is not permitted, and a single registration cannot be used by more than one person.
  • Only registered delegates will be guaranteed access to the event.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Registration and purchase of tickets are managed by a third-party vendor, Eventbrite. Therefore, registrants wishing to cancel a conference registration must do so through Eventbrite.
  • Cancellations received between Saturday, 01 June 2024 and midnight on Sunday 30 June 2024 will have 80% of the fees refunded.
  • No refunds will be made for cancellations by delegates that are received by Monday, 01 July 2024.
  • No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the conference.

Privacy Policy

ACMRO, an agency of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, is committed to data privacy and protecting your personal information. Information on how ACMRO collects, processes, and uses your data is included in the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference Privacy Policy, which is hereby incorporated into these Terms and Conditions. 

ACMRO uses the personal data you provide in this registration solely to administer your participation in this conference. This may include information about the conference’s content, conference updates, and additional information related to the conference.

Non-discrimination policy

ACMRO aims to provide a conference environment for all delegates, staff, speakers, sponsors, and other stakeholders that supports knowledge of and respect for equality and cultural inclusion and is free from unlawful behaviour.

Conference conduct and safety

ACMRO is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment to all delegates, including staff and guests, at this conference. ACMRO has no tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or bullying in any form at ACMRO-related events. Delegates are expected to adhere to these principles and respect the rights of others. 

Participants should report any behaviour inconsistent with these principles to onsite ACMRO staff. ACMRO staff will be happy to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.

Liability waiver and release

In consideration of being allowed to register for, and participate in the conference, you hereby warrant and represent that you are age 18 or above and freely waive, release from liability, assume all risks, and covenant not to sue ACMRO or its staff, conference partners or volunteers for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, illness, including but not limited to disability, property damage, or property theft or actions of any kind that you may hereafter suffer or sustain before, during, or after the conference, unless said expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, illness, disability, property damage or property theft or actions of any kind is caused by the sole, gross negligence of ACMRO.  This liability waiver and release is specifically binding upon your heirs and assigns and is knowingly given.

Usage of photographic and video material taken during the Conference

Please note that during the conference, photographs and videos may be taken, which will solely be used in ACMRO website articles and newsletters.

Please advise Don Gomez (contact below) if you do not want your photographs or videos to be included on the above platforms.

The views expressed by any delegate, staff, speaker, sponsor, or stakeholder are not necessarily those of ACMRO. All delegates, staff, speakers, sponsors, and stakeholders are solely responsible for the content of all individual presentations, marketing collateral, and/or advertising.
