You may be visiting this website because you are a refugee yourself, looking for help. As a non-government organisation ACMRO is not in position to sponsor individuals with passage to Australia. Our office does not grant visas for residence in Australia.

You must obtain a declaration of Refugee Status from an office of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). Without that UNHCR declaration, you will have difficulty in obtaining acceptance under Australia's Humanitarian Program.

You should then contact the nearest Australian Consulate/Embassy.

We have listed here some useful links for relevant government departments and other agencies.
